A rather uneventful time was had by all, and he eventually ended up doing a Degree in Art/History. The offer of a schlorship at Oxford University led to a temporary move to Oxford, and membership of its Footlights Society. It was during this time that Timothy became convinced that a life on the stage was for him, and so he decided upon the career of a theatre actor. He maintained this career for a few years until a series of poor reviews sent him over the edge, and Timothy suffered a nervous breakdown. Once apparently recovered, Timothy left the stage in favour of becoming a freelance reviewer/ author on his favorite subjects of Historical Art and the Theatre. Another few years passed, and a chance meeting with the renowned Theatre Critic Sir. Charles Lettering, one of the critics whose reviews had led to Timothy's breakdown, led to Timothy following him home after a review party. Timothy's intent was unclear as this point, but a sudden madness led to him breaking into Sir Charles's home. At this point, Timothy's mind presented himself with two options: One, that he should kill the critic, and Two, that he would at least rearrange his post-modern furniture into a displeasing configuration. Unfortunately for Timothy, two bits of bad news occurred: One, Sir Charles walked in, catching Timothy placing a reclining leather chair next to an Edwardian Sideboard, causing Sir Charles to instinctively flinch in agony at this cruel mockery of his interior design, and Two, that Sir Charles turned out to be a Vampire. Sir Charles presently took the shaken Timothy on a tour of the house, pointing out various works of art, the role of the Neo-Classical in Impressionism, and then drained Timothy dry. The reason, as Sir Charles later told him was: "Your acting was Soooo poor dear boy, that this curse is not nearly enough. I once wrote that you were'nt even capable of playing dead. Now you have the chance....." This course of events had a somewhat detrimental effect on Timothy's psyche. The act of breaking into Sir Charles's home and then being drained of all his blood and then being turned into a monster caused a strange fluctuation in his mind. Now whenever Timothy goes too mad, a Panda glove puppet appears on his hand (from his Jacket), and it appears to have a mind of its own (it has also been known to advise Timothy in times of stress of the correct course of action to take). Timothy does'nt know where he came from, only that he appears when he's in trouble, and has a tendency to affect how people in social situations react towards him (i.e. "there's some lunatic in front of me with a glove puppet on his hand, and he's talking to him....). Timothy's apparent age is about 29, and his Embrace was around two years ago. He wears smart grey shoes, grey trousers, a grey Jacket and a velvet waist coat His hair is long, black with streaks of grey in, tied back into a pony-tail. Sir Charles looks in his mid 50's, thick set with a full head of short white hair. He has a distinguished looking face, is of slightly under medium height, and is, of course, a friend of the Royals. Naturally, Timothy hates critics, even though he sometimes is one. Timothy is viewed as an eccentric by those who buy his reports/reviews/articles These are his major form of income, as the money is paid into an account that he can access from around the world. He earns enough to live quite comfortably Sir Charles educated Timothy in the Vampire ways: Traditions, Lineage, the Masquerade, etc. He also attempted to Blood Bond Timothy, but found that it was impossible. Realising the dangerous, possibly vengeful, Neonate he had created, but unwilling to destroy him out-of-hand, Sir Charles decided to placate Timothy by setting him up in a Haven in Chicago with two retainers prepared with Sir Charles's powers of Domination. They were ordered to follow Timothy's wishes to the Letter. Timothy's ability to seduce the fairer sex stems from his acting ability and innate charm. Current Retainer: Lisa Trelmaine 26 N.B. The other retainer (Andrew Pearce), was lost in the warehouse district of Gary whilst being sent for help. The circumstances of his disappearance remain unknown, but he is presumed to be dead. (I found out what happened to him, and when I find that Ravnos B*ST*RD, he's dead!) MERITS ====== Timothy is Unbondable, and in a recently Chronicle, he somehow had the power to break Domination, and rarely, Blood Bonds, by touch. It is an unknown where or how this ability manifests itself, but it cannot be relied on i.e. Timothy cannot decide to use it, as it is at the option of the Storyteller. CURRENT HAVEN: Timothy is currently residing in THE TORCH, along with a Brujah, a Toreador, a Caitiff, a Ventrue, and someone I suspect to be a Follower of Set. Their names if you need more detail can be forwarded. The group I am in call themselves "....Within the Heart of Shadow", after the line in a poem: "We are friends to demons, and followers to fools, for we dwell within the heart of shadow, Dreaming the dreams of the Damned" ......written by an Anonymous Kindred of unknown origins.
